Chamba is said to be the treasure of India in art & culture especially Himalayan lifestyle but very few people knows that Chamba region of western Himalayas is one of the best spot for your camera. The region is covered with dense forest, tall pine trees and beautiful panorama around. Here few wildlife sanctuaries can be covered by walk while most of them are hugely spreads in wider Dhauladhar & Pir Panjal mountain range. This package is specially design for those who love to capture Himalayan wildlife especially birds & variety of floras & faunas.
Detailed itinerary for Wildlife Hike in Dalhousie
You have to reach our at our camp located at Panchpula in Dalhousie. Check in & relax. Later in second half, get ready to walk a bit for an exercise of your camera. It will be a nature walk of around 3 to 4 hours near Dalhousie town. Camp fun, bonfire & dinner.
Morning after breakfast our taxi will drop us to Damkund & from here our first photography walk will start in the wild. This walk is an amazing amalgamation of Pir Panjal at one side & Dhauladhar on another. In-fact the mighty Dhauladhar mountain range originated from here. This is walk of 7 Kms (3 – 5 Hours). Once we will reach jot area, we will check in at our guests house. Dinner & overnight.
Morning after breakfast we will take a local bus and reach to Khajjiar. From here we will start another photography walk towards Kalatop wildlife sanctuary and then walking down towards Panchpula. This day travel will be by local bus with our camera. In the evening, reaching at Panchpula & check in at same camp.
After breakfast in Panchpula Camp in Dalhousie, you will be free on your own.

We will pick you from railway station/ bus stand from Dalhousie. Our pick up team will be there waiting for you bewteen morning 5 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. In case you are late you need to be in touch with our trek coordinator mentioned in the booking voucher.
