Located in the lap of Dhauladhar Mountains of Himalayas, Triund is always been the first choice for travelers staying in Dharamshala or McLeod Ganj. It is a beautiful mountain trail laden with numerous floras and offers a tranquil patch to cover. As you will gradually step up the towards the top, you will capture an outstanding views of the valley. The entire stretch & curve is something to offer whether its varieties of floras or views of the valley down there or may be the formation of the stone, you have plenty of things to do on this trail. Later once you will reach on the top of Triund hill (literally means meeting of three mountains), you will feel blissful witnessing the Himalayas in its larger form. The vista is just amazing and breathtaking that you will not wish to go back. This hike is suggestible to each age group who are reasonably fit to climb a 9 kms long mountain stretch which is leading us on the top of Triund hill. You can do it anytime during summer months.
Detailed itinerary for Triund Day Hike Trek
We will pick you from your hotel in either Dharamshala or McLeod Ganj at around 8 or so in the morning. We will start driving towards Galu Devi Temple from where we will begin our day hike towards Triund. Triund hike is amazing short trail in Dharamshala, the entire stretch of 9 Kms is vast in varieties of floras. We will keep climbing while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Kangra Valley down there. Later we will reach to the Triund Top. Triund top is located at the height of 2850 Meter. Triund literally means the meeting of three hills. It is beautiful flat ground or a flat mountain edge where you can camp, sit and enjoy solace of Himalayas. You can take so many peaks through your camera from the top. Later after spending quality time here we will descend following same route. We will reach Galu Devi Temple area from where we will board the car to reach back to our hotel again. This day hike is amazing & fun filled.

We will pick you from railway station/ bus stand from Mcleodganj Dharmakot. Our pick up team will be there waiting for you bewteen morning 5 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. In case you are late you need to be in touch with our trek coordinator mentioned in the booking voucher.
