Lies beyond the snow-packed Chanderkhani Pass, The Malana village is a hub of around hundred houses. It is one of its own kinds of village in entire Himalayan region. This Malana village in Kullu valley is popularly known as “Republic of Malana”. The tribal lives here have their own system of justice and self governance. They are one of the impressive people living in Himalayas and believing that they belongs to Greek Decent. There are many lures attached to this village & one of the famous one is when Alexander The Great invaded India and reach the land in the Himalayas where today’s Malana village lies. You would like to listen all of that while hiking towards the village, its steep, tiring but stories of this village keeps you energetic and you will keep going until the center of the village. Our guide will accompanying you for this hike. The day you will spend in this part of Himalayas is worth and somehow stays in your memories of life long and there can be certain reason behind it be it Malana culture, Himalayan energies, local lures or just a scenic walk in the mountains.
Detailed itinerary for Malana Village Day Hike
Morning we will pick you from your camp or hotel in either Kasol, tosh or any other place in Parvati Valley and we will drive to the base of the village. From here we will start climbing to Malana Village which lies at an altitude of 2652 Meters. This trail is about 2 Kms but steep and tiring. You may take break once, twice or more in between. Once you will reach in the middle of the village, you will be energetic to listen up many more lures related to this village. We will spend quality time here and later drive back to your camp or hotel.

We will pick you from railway station/ bus stand from Malana Village . Our pick up team will be there waiting for you bewteen morning 5 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. In case you are late you need to be in touch with our trek coordinator mentioned in the booking voucher.
