The Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary or the Khajjiar Wildlife Sanctuary located along with The River Ravi of Chamba District & rich with varieties of floras & faunas. It has wide range of animal specious such as Langur, Himalayan Brown Bear, Leopard, Jackal and so much more. Apart from animals, the area is a favorite place for varieties of birds such as Eurasian Jay, Black Headed Hay, Himalayan Bulbul and so many more. The route from the park to Dalhousie main town is amazing; it is equally an amazing place for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers and nature lover. The best place to visit Kalatop is between September to April. So if you are in Dalhousie or Khajjiar and having a day free to explore some different place and wish to know about the local floras & faunas, it could be the best hike you can opt with your family & friends.

Morning our guide & driver will pick you from suggested place in Khajjiar or Dalhousie and we will drive towards Sanctuary. Right at the entrance, we will park our car and start hiking in forest located Khajjiar Sanctuary which is rich in floras and faunas. We will spend quality time inside the forest. In the afternoon or evening, we will drive back.

We will pick you from railway station/ bus stand from Lakkar Mnadi . Our pick up team will be there waiting for you bewteen morning 5 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. In case you are late you need to be in touch with our trek coordinator mentioned in the booking voucher.
