Cycling has become one of the most popular activities around the world. It is not only taking you to some of the hidden gem of the area but also letting you become full to life as you paddling up in Himalayas. This package is one of the most exciting one in entire Himalayas. This is not an high altitude cycling trip but you are riding at foothills of Himalayas and exploring the life of local people living in the shadow of mighty Himalayan range of Dhauladhar (snow capped mountains). We will begin this tour from the Paragliding capital of India and proceed further to the home in exile of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama in Dharamshala – an upper valley of Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. This is amazing foothills of Himalayas circuit or we say an active cycling holiday.
Detailed itinerary for Cycling Tour to Foothills of Himalayas
Welcome to the Paragliding Capital of India, Bir-Billing. On arrival we will check-in at camp. Later a small briefing about the tour & cycle handover session. Later in the afternoon, we will ride to explore Bir-Billing Valley locally. Evening camp fun, bonfire followed by dinner.
Morning breakfast (carrying packaged lunch) exploring Sherbaling Monastery, Upper part of valley & many more hidden trails of Himalayas on our cycle under trained guide. Evening camp fun, bonfire followed by dinner.
Today after breakfast (carrying packed lunch), we will ride to Dharamshala as our next destination. The ride is scenic and amazing crossing small villages & towns of tea gardens here. Reaching there, check-in at camp. Evening for nature trail walk. Later camp fun, bonfire followed by dinner.
Today after breakfast (carrying packed lunch), we will have an excursions to the place where His Holiness The Dalai Lama resides. It will be around 20 Kms ride per way. Here in McLeod Ganj so many places to visit such as different monasteries, nice roof top café and much more Evening back to our camp for dinner & overnight stay but before that you have to say Good Bye to your bicycles.

We will pick you from railway station/ bus stand from Bir Billing. Our pick up team will be there waiting for you bewteen morning 5 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. In case you are late you need to be in touch with our trek coordinator mentioned in the booking voucher.
