If you are adventure enthusiasts and preparing for high altitude expedition and before participating in it, you want to be the part of some of the low level of treks but still want to conquer some of the moderate to hard patches of higher Himalayas, then Chanderkhani Pass can be your choice. This trekking expedition will not only give you a glimpse of the Kullu valley Himalayas but makes you prepare for your next level of expedition. This trek will gradually start from a beautiful valley and goes upto to ancient Chanderkhani Pass which has been historically used by Malana people to come to Kullu Valley or vice versa. This trek is breathtaking as it comes with plenty of natural vistas, glaciers and stunning views of standing tall peaks in the valley. At the first session of the trek, you will have a reach to a small village in Naggar area of Manali, Rumsu, which is thoroughly delightful setting to spend first night of the trek. The next two nights will be up there on the mountain top while conquering the Chanderkhani Pass. Also do you know, Chanderkhani Pass is the pass the from where Alexender the Great entered in Manala valley. Hence this pass has many more lures to offer you. Detailed itinerary for Chanderkhani Pass Trek
Morning or anytime in day you will have to reach Rumsu (A small village located very close to Naggar Castle in Manali). You will be welcomed at Rumsu, here we will check-in at camp or homestay in this beautiful village. Rest day will be free for you to explore the beauty of mountains, village walk, to be fit in mountain climate etc. You may also visit Naggar castle & Roerich Art Gallery nearby at your own. Dinner & overnight at Rumsu.
After a nice breakfast, start your journey with an amazing jeep ride to Gulaba. Start your trek from Gulaba to Rohilkohli camp site. The slow and easy ascending will make your breath fast, but with the breathtaking mountain vistas all around. It is a silent beautiful valley with a lush green covered grassland all around. We will reach Ghan Kulhadi by the early evening. We will pitch up our tents here. Dinner & overnight at camp.
Today we will start our climb to cross through our final goal which is Chanderkhani Pass. On the way, we will observe the breathtaking glaciers of higher Himalayas. Enjoy this moments when you summit the Chanderkhani Pass. Later spending some time here, we will descend to Chaklani. Here we will pitch up our tents. Evening enjoy at campsite.
Morning after breakfast, we will descend back to Rumsu again from different side of the mountains. It depends on your walk, normally a fit person can reach back with-in 3 to 4 hours of time. After reaching Rumsu, you will be free for your own. You can either take a local bus or hire a taxi to reach back to Manali or on your own destination. Trek over with happy memories of the mountains.

We will pick you from railway station/ bus stand from Manali. Our pick up team will be there waiting for you bewteen morning 5 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. In case you are late you need to be in touch with our trek coordinator mentioned in the booking voucher.
